About the founder
Born in Hong Kong and raised in Macau, I crossed borders at the age of 13 to pursue my education in the United Kingdom. Growing up across different cultures and education systems shaped my curiosity about how people think, adapt, and make sense of their worlds — a curiosity that ultimately led me to psychology.
I created Psych with Kumi to document my learning journey while helping others see the breadth of psychology. The field is often presented as a single route — usually clinical psychology — but it’s far wider than that. From occupational psychology to AI ethics and mental health, there are many pathways where psychological thinking can make meaningful contributions.
